Privacy Policy

This document outlines how Coastline Media Ltd handles personal data. We operate an affiliate review portal that analyses operators like LuckyBoom. We do not operate a casino ourselves, nor do we process gambling deposits or withdrawals. This policy adheres to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679).

2. What we collect

We gather minimal data to maintain the site and analyse user behaviour. This process is split into automatic server logs and voluntary submissions.

Server log files are generated whenever you visit the portal. These include your IP address, the timestamp of the request, the user agent (browser type and version), and the referrer (the page you visited before arriving here). This data helps us identify bot traffic and prevent DDoS attacks (distributed denial of service) which can crash the server.

We keep records of your consent. If you accept cookies via our banner, we store a token to remember that choice. This prevents the banner from appearing on every single page load.

Contact form data is collected only if you choose to write to us. This typically includes your name and email address. We use this solely to answer your specific query about LuckyBoom or other reviewed brands.

3. Legal bases

Processing data without a legal foundation is prohibited under EU law. We rely on two primary bases under Article 6(1) of the GDPR.

We balance these interests against your fundamental rights. In the case of log files, the data is used for technical maintenance, which is a standard industry practice for any European web publisher.

4. Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We distinguish between strictly necessary cookies and non-essential ones.

Necessary cookies (such as those managing session security) load automatically. Non-essential cookies, including those used for analytics to track which reviews are most popular, only activate after you provide explicit consent. We do not use "pre-ticked" boxes for this purpose.

You can withdraw your consent at any time. The process to opt-out is designed to be as simple as the process to opt-in. You can clear your browser cache or use the settings tool on our homepage to revoke permission for tracking.

5. Recipients and transfers

Your data is not sold to third parties. We only share information with processors necessary for the site to function.

This includes our hosting provider and analytics services. These partners act as data processors under the GDPR and are bound by strict confidentiality agreements. They cannot use your data for their own marketing purposes.

If data is transferred to a server outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place. This usually involves the use of Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission to ensure a level of protection equivalent to that within the EU.

6. Retention

We do not store personal data longer than necessary for the purposes described above.

Server log files are typically deleted or anonymised after a short period (usually 30 to 90 days) unless a security incident requires a longer investigation. Contact form submissions are kept until the query is resolved, after which they are purged from our mail server.

Consent tokens for cookies expire based on the settings of the specific cookie, usually within 12 months.

7. Your rights under the GDPR

As a resident of the EU, you have specific rights regarding your data. You may exercise these by emailing our data-protection contact.

If you believe we have breached the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. For readers in the Netherlands, this would be the national data protection regulator responsible for overseeing privacy laws in that jurisdiction.

8. Affiliate links and outbound tracking

Our portal generates revenue through affiliate partnerships. When you click a link to visit LuckyBoom, you are leaving our website.

Clicking these links may trigger a tracking cookie from the operator or an affiliate network. This allows the operator to know the user arrived via our review site. Once you land on the operator's page, our privacy policy no longer applies.

The operator's own privacy policy governs all data collection from that point forward, including your KYC (Know Your Customer) documents, payment details, and gambling history. We recommend reading the operator's legal pages before registering an account.
